The area to the south of the proposed stream will remain much as it is. With the exception of any unhealthy trees all the existing trees in the garden are retained, the brambles will be removed and the grass mown twice a year. Grass paths will be kept cut through the longer grass. All the existing herbaceous groundcover such as snow drops, celandines and primroses will be retained. A low key, scalping path with seating will provide access around the old garden.
