The Immersion Pool

The immersion pool will, we hope, eventually be a sunny, tranquil space accessible to all, with a timber bench, area for a wheelchair, medieval planting and a low hazel hurdle fence and gate.

However, because the pool is a scheduled monument and requires extensive and expensive work that has to be approved by English Heritage, in the short term the area around the pool will be fenced off. The pool will be visible, but not accessible, until the repair/renovation work is complete. The plan shows an impression of how the pool area may eventually look.
