Visit to Rosie Musgrave's Studio
On Thursday 4th August, members of the LGA Committee paid a visit to Rosie Musgrave's studio on Dartmoor to see how work was progressing on the three standing figures. The first row of photos shows Rosie standing behind "Toad" as well as some of her stonecarving chisels. The second row shows, from left to right, Snake, Toad and Long Crippler. The third row shows the three heads, while the bottom row shows full size drawings, records of what she's been doing and some technical drawings showing how the pieces will be held together.

Rosie hopes to have the figures completed by early September and they'll be installed in the garden some time later that month. We'll be announcing the official unveiling date shortly.
